Founded in Bloomington, Minnesota, Dignity Mental Health Solutions was created to fill a critical need: mental health services that truly honor the humanity of every patient. We believe healing begins with being seen, heard, and respected.

Our clinic serves adolescents (ages 13+), adults, and older adults across the Twin Cities metro area and throughout Minnesota via a hybrid model — in-person, telehealth, and audio/phone appointments. We treat generalized anxiety, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, insomnia, OCD, ODD, ADHD, psychosis, and more.

Dual Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

With over 20 years of nursing experience, Gernine has dedicated her career to caring for patients across a variety of healthcare settings, including long-term care, dementia units, assisted and independent living, transitional care, and inpatient psychiatric services. She has served as a bedside nurse, charge nurse, and case manager, guiding and supporting teams of CNAs, LPNs, and RNs while providing exceptional patient care.

Throughout her career, Gernine has developed a deep understanding of the challenges patients face, particularly those living with dementia and mental health conditions. Recognizing the need for timely and compassionate mental health care, she pursued advanced education as a Family Nurse Practitioner and earned her post-master's certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Gernine is committed not just to being a provider, but to being a partner in her patients' health journeys. She brings empathy, dedication, and individualized care to every patient, striving to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
